Its worth noting that TheToyshop.com do there own brand of lego type bricks called Block Tech & they are stated as being compatible with leading construction brick brands… I’m guessing that means Lego.

£5 Off when you spend £20 on your child’s birthday.
In store only
If you sign up to the free Toys R Us ‘Gold Card’ loyalty card, on your child’s birthday you can get a voucher for £5 off when you spend at least £20 in store (see full T&Cs).
You’ll need to opt in to receive the newsletter, or you may not receive the email with the voucher code in. It can’t be used online – only in stores.
What else does the loyalty card get me?
For every £10+ transaction you make in store or online, you’ll accumulate points at a rate of one point per pound. These will be converted to money off vouchers once every six months. For example, if you spend £100+ in six months you’ll get at least £75 of coupons.
If you go to Toys ‘R’ Us you can get two selected toys for £15. Delivery’s £2.95 or it’s free to click and collect in store (find your nearest). We’ve asked Toys ‘R’ Us when the offer ends, but it has yet to confirm – we’ll update you here when we know more.
When we checked online, there were 256 items included in the offer, with brands such as Peppa Pig, Star Wars and Transformers. You won’t need a code – the discount’s automatically applied at the checkout. As is the nature of these types of promotion, stock may be limited.
The cheapest item we’ve seen is a Transformer figure at £7.99, so if you bought two, you’d only save 98p. The most expensive item we found is a Captain America strike gauntlet at £16.99 in store, so if you bought two, you’d save £18.98. Though of course, you don’t need to buy two of the same toy – you can mix and match among all that’s included.
